Did you know Manchester has a cat café? It’s called, erm, Cat Café (obviously) and opened on High Street in the Northern Quarter in summer 2016.
Owners Elena and Sarah Close started a crowdfunding campaign for their Manchester cat café after visiting Maison de Moggy in Edinburgh, according to their crowdfunding page. Although the campaign was not successful, the cafe went ahead anyway and is now open in Manchester’s popular Northern Quarter.
Visits work slightly differently to most other cat cafés, with pricing worked out per 5 minutes and including unlimited hot and cold drinks. Bookings currently work on a 50% booked / 50% walk-in basis. You can read more about their cafe and book your visit on the Manchester Cat Café website. We recommend you read their FAQs and contact them directly with any queries.
We love the Meet the cats page where you can learn about their feline residents.
