Did you know there’s going to be a Leeds cat cafe soon?
Nope, it’s not a copycat – Kitty Cafe in Leeds is the new branch of Kitty Cafe founded in Nottingham. It’s billed as “coming Summer 2017” with an announcement video published on 7th April.
Owner Katie Charles-Richards opened the Nottingham cat cafe in 2015, so she’s got a fair bit of feline experience, and it’s the first UK cat cafe to open a second branch. Congrats!
The Leeds cat cafe will be one of the larger in the country, with a reported 35 resident cats and a rehoming programme. The exact location is still top secret, but is in “Leeds city centre”. In the meantime, follow their Facebook page for plenty of kitty pics from their Nottingham cafe, as well as updates as the Leeds cafe opening date approaches. We love their video updates, too.
With neighbouring city York still cat-cafe-less, we think this will be a popular one!
